If they take this money and do what Enertion is doing their next board could be pretty awesome in a year or so.
This product is directly catered to public transit, commuter, and city market which has a lot of room to grow. Basically they are going to have to spend a bunch of money on advertising to try and widen the marketplace. Everyone wants more people riding Esk8, Inboard is footing the PR bill. I see this as amazing for the industry.
